Why I became a Raw Food Specialist
Once upon a time...there were many things in my life calling for attention: family, friends, my job, hobbies…
But in the end, each day has only 24 hours, right?
And then we got our wonderful puppy. He made his way into our hearts right away.
Experiencing all the love, joy, fun and smiles that our dog brought to us, I wanted to make sure that we could spend as much time as possible with him.
For me, it came down to self-made food as the best option to honour his nature and health. I wanted to start raw feeding.
There was (and is) a lot of information out there about raw feeding dogs. It made me curious - but yet again - it took time.
Time to figure out what information suited us and how to apply all this to our lives, which steps to take and in what order…
I loved reading about these topics and I wanted practical and easy-to-implement solutions.
So I decided to pursue this professionally and became a BARF specialist.
My knowledge about nutrition is embedded in a dog trainer education that I underwent before that.
I want to pass on this knowledge about the raw feeding concept BARF to help you and your dog with a holistic approach that goes beyond nutritional advise.
My goal is to do it in an understandable and bit-sized way to spread the idea of healthy feeding more.
Education as BARF consultant
My education to become a BARF consultant, took place from 2023 to 2024 in the well-known THP-Schule in Germany (founded by Swanie Simon).
For 9 months I learned everything about raw feeding dogs and cats.
